Approximately twenty-five thousand residences in southeastern Queensland found themselves lacking electricity on Monday morning after intense storm systems impacted the region, generating powerful gusts reaching 109km/h.
Substantial Frozen Precipitation and Broad Damage
Locals witnessed substantial frozen pellets measuring up to 7 centimeters in particular locations. Weather authorities announced that different parts across Queensland had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.
