The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in the state of California aged 55.

His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The renowned video game developer lost his life when his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday, according to.
